Fear

People, like myself, who have been broken avoid anything that may put them in a vulnerable position again. The problem with closing out the pain is that one also closes off the power. Closing out the burden inevitably closes out the blessing waiting on the other side.

For me, that thing that frightens me almost more than being destitute is Love!
