Longing for a Your Return

Not long ago, just a few months back, you departed from this dreadful place, and I find myself frequently longing for your presence. I often wonder what words you would share to bring a smile to my face or ignite laughter within me. They say friends like you are a rare gem, not easily found in life, especially as time goes by. Lately, my mind has been restless, desperately seeking respite from constant contemplation. I yearn for a momentary reprieve from memories of you, just so I can find solace in sleep and rejuvenate my weary soul. Rest is essential, you know, for maintaining one's beauty! However, I must admit, I wouldn't mind if you were to accompany me in my dreams.

It's during my waking hours that I am haunted by the absence of your comforting words of wisdom, love, and friendship, causing this deep longing within me.
