Sunset Dreams

Last night my Beloved gave me a gift from the universe

He shared a sunset with me

He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me so far into his slim frame that it felt as if he pulled me into his spirit

I smiled, grabbed hold of his arms, held on tight, closed my eyes, and took in his essence

In the quietness, he whispered to me, relax habibti, you're safe here

At that moment, I surrendered to his protective summons and nestled my body snuggly into his

And, the rest of the world disappeared

The only thing that mattered was him, me, and that perfectly splendid glow of a brilliant ombre red-orange sky

Watching sunsets with him is surely a great gift from the heavens

Watching sunsets with him is like the universe opened its arms and took both of us into its very own soul

The universe lifted us above the sun kissed earth, touched our conscientious and revealed our future together...our dreams fulfilled

Last night, my Beloved gave me the universe

He touched his lips to mine and breathed new life into me

He took my hand into his and led me towards our future

Watching sunsets with him fuels my spirit and stirs my soul

My Beloved, oh how he stimulates my passions and turns dreams into realities
