The Day We Met

Our love began the day we met, nothing that happened before then matters. Nothing before it even exists.

She knew she loved him when she woke up and realized that she was afraid to lose him.

She knew that loved him when all she could think about was his happiness.

For her, “Our love began the day we met…” but for him, he’s yet to find his way. She knew she loved him even, if it meant that she must let him go in order for him to find happiness elsewhere.

I used to look at this print and think, this girl is reaching out to attain all that belongs to her. Love, life, whatever is so close, just within her reach. Today, I looked at it and thought, maybe she’s letting go of what was never meant to last a lifetime. My Love, you wanted to disconnect. I’m trying so hard to let you go…
