Through the Fire

As I gaze into the flickering embers of life, I am reminded that fires, much like love, demand our attention and care. If you see a fire, put it out then move on to the next one. The dance of flames mirrors the delicate balance of relationships, where the warmth of connection can quickly turn into a dangerous blaze.

In the eyes of uncertainty, where we've loved so dangerously, there's a hesitancy to trust one's heart to anyone. The cautionary whispers advise playing it smart, warning that we might be through before we even start. Yet, against the backdrop of doubt, there's a belief that we've only just begun. It resonates with the echoes of a love so sweet that there's no saying no.

To extinguish a fire is to confront the limit, to face the wall that separates us from the unknown. For a chance to be with someone, and to feel the intensity of connection, one must be ready to go through the fire. It's a risk willingly taken, a journey embarked upon with a heart full of longing.

And when the flames of passion blaze through the test of time, when love withstands the trials, it becomes a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. There's a willingness to take it all the way through whatever may come, through the uncertainties and challenges

. Right down to the wire, even through the fire, because the allure of a genuine connection is too potent to ignore.

But as the fire subsides, as the intensity wanes, it's crucial to remember not to linger in the ashes. The remnants of what once burned bright are not where life resides. There is no existence to be found among the charred remains. Instead, let them blow away with the winds of time, allowing new possibilities to take flight.

In the ebb and flow of relationships and fires alike, the key is to feel alive. To embrace the heat when it's intense, to navigate the challenges, and, when the time comes, to gracefully let go. Life, much like the ever-changing dance of flames, is about movement and transition. So, if you see a fire, put it out, let it go, and move on to the next one. In doing so, you'll find that the essence of living is not in the remnants of what once was, but in the anticipation of what can be. ~N'cki J. (Apr 17th, 2020 11:49:11am)
