Choose Love

It’s been said that poeple “fall in love by chance but, they stay in love by choice”. I want to wake up next to you each day and choose to love you over and over, each day of our lives. I want to fall asleep in your arms each night and allow you to choose to keep me safe and love me each night of our lives. I want to wake each day knowing that you chose me, you chose love over fear.

I choose love.

Sure, falling in love is easy and maybe even beyond one’s control. However, staying in love is a conscious choice that one must make each day beyond the first utterance “I love you”. There will be happy moments, sad moments, and moments when we feel like we giving up. We must endeavor to commit to fully to the journey of loving one another.

I choose love.

This love thing is a marathon, one in which I’m willing to run with you.
