Vision

Today, I’m grateful for vision. Let me explain…

I was looking through my box of “feel good” memorabilia and I came across this photo that my niece drew for me, at the time she was five years old. I recall, she explained to me this was her dream oasis, her back yard, and she was sharing it with me. I remember feeling warm and happy about her dreams being so big and her heart was just as big. Then, she said to me, “I’m going to be like you when I grow up”!

Looking surprised and feeling overwhelmed, I remember giving her the biggest, tightest hug. I thought, how insightful she was to express herself in a picture as she didn’t have the words. But, mostly I recall that she had big dreams for her life at home. She reminded me of a time when I was younger and dreamed bigger. I used to write down my desires and dreams of my future – vision.

I recall that dreams should be big and your future is laid out for you. Everything that I can remember writing about, whether for myself or a loved one when I was younger has come to fruition in some form. How wonderful it is! How can one not be grateful for being given her heart's desires?

Write down your dreams and make them clear and plain. For, you’ll achieve more than you expect!
