Attitude of Gratitude

Updated: Oct 4, 2020

Open Letter of Gratitude

Today, I celebrate another year that the Earth has orbited the sun and I’ll turn 1,388,534,400 seconds. I contemplate the many experiences I’ve been fortunate enough to have. I am forever grateful that the wonderful experiences are more numerous than the not-so-good.

As I sit here reflecting about the state of the world today, I can’t help but notice the obvious. The world is nearly halfway through 2020 and that the first few months of 2020, for many across the globe, were filled with pain, chaos, anxiety, and uncertainty. However, I recall that on the other side of turmoil lives happiness and gratitude – a glimmer of good in a world full of darkness.

In honoring my debt to the universe for intervening in my path, I reflect on things and experiences for which I am grateful within the past year.

—- Loving you was an unexpected surprise. The experience is certainly, without question, one of the most preeminent moments of my recent life. In a heartbeat, in a single flashing throbbing moment, love accidentally happened. For me, the best part of saying goodbye to 2019 and welcoming 2020…

You!

It has been my honor to know you and trust the allure of profound endings and new beginnings. I couldn’t have asked for or dreamed of more honest experience. Thank you for being part of my journey.

Je t’aime ma puce.
