Waiting
Waiting
Waiting
Waiting
For more than two years
I waited
He waited
We waited
The day finally arrived
The wait was over, finally
But...
We'd have to wait just a little longer
Wait to get through the immigration lines
Wait to finish the long taxi ride
Wait to get checked into our weekend accommodation
Wait for the valet to drop our luggage and leave
Finally, alone, together, again
What happened next was so much better than anything I could've imagined
We smiled
We held hands
We held a long embrace
We held gazed into eye others eyes that told each of us everything we needed to know in that moment
We connected soul to soul
We touched forehead to forehead
My third eye to his third eye
We fell into a comfortable place where things in our worlds began to collide and all made sense
We connected, for the first time, on a spiritual level that we'd yet to do
The waiting...
The two years wait, in that moment, felt worth it
